Super Electronic AFFECT!, or SEA! for short, is a massive compilation of tracks I worked on, on and off, throughout the 2014-2016 period. In a lot of ways it was an attempt to refine the spirit of the earlier-released Staryotype, but primarily my focus was utilizing lo-fi aspects and the idea I had of "emotional electronic" (hence the "AFFECT!"). Not very intelligent, not extremely danceable, but near and dear nonetheless. At the same time, I'd been experimenting with some sillier takes on juke (Chicago house), faux-analog electronic, classic electro, "orchestral" arrangements, drum and bass, and Latin rhythms. It's all very irreverent to say the least. Cover art made by me in Photoshop, from a picture I took in my neighborhood. "Overarching Dred" is of course a (not great) tribute to the one and only Mike Dred. That track and "Proklatyy Avtomat" both appear in another Bandcamp release of mine under the pseudonym Polyphase System. See if you can find it, if you like.
