"And Also the Trees est un groupe de post-punk britannique, originaire d'Inkberrow, dans le Worcestershire, en Angleterre. Il est formé pendant l'été 1979,
et connait un certain succès entre 1985 et 1992, notamment en France. Initialement composé de Simon Huw Jones (chant), de Justin Jones (guitares),
de Nick Havas (batterie) et de Graham Havas (basse) qui est très vite remplacé par Steven Burrows (dès l'année 1982), le groupe tire son nom d'un des premiers
textes de Simon Huw Jones, « Green is the Sea/And Also the Trees » et est associé au courant musical post-punk ou cold wave (France)."
