Easy Virtue, also known in Italy as Fragile Virtue, is a 1927 silent film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, based on the comedy of the same name by Noel Coward.
It was for Hitchcock the last film to be made for Michael Balcon's Gainsborough film house. Ivor Montagu, who had already joined Hitchcock in the previous work Il declino, was proposed for creative consultancy and editing, but in this case the collaboration was not without disagreements.
