En 1974, le groupe d'Alice Cooper avait atteint l'échelon supérieur de la célébrité rock... puis s'était séparé. En octobre 2015, plus de 40 ans plus tard, le propriétaire du magasin de disques et superfan Chris Penn a convaincu le line-up original de se réunir pour une performance très spéciale dans son magasin de disques Good Records à Dallas, au Texas.
Alice Cooper (chant), Michael Bruce (guitare), Dennis Dunaway (basse) et Neal Smith (batterie) ont été rejoints sur scène par l'actuel guitariste d'Alice, Ryan Roxie (en remplacement de feu Glen Buxton). Un public comble, croyant être venu chez Good Records pour 'Snakes!' de Dennis Dunaway ! Guillotine ! Chaises électriques !' signature de livre, ont été surpris de témoigner d'un événement à part entière.
L'émission de retrouvailles historique comprenant des classiques de tous les temps tels que "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "I'm Eighteen" et "School's Out" est maintenant disponible pour la toute première fois dans le monde. Heureusement, l'événement a été documenté. "Live From The Astroturf, Alice Cooper" (édité et réalisé par Steven Gaddis) a fait le tour du monde sous les acclamations des fans de musique et des journalistes rock. Le documentaire a remporté plusieurs prix pour sa couverture de l'événement historique.
