This book presents admission tests and complete, explained solutions from the AwesomeMath Summer Program, designed to help advanced middle school and high school students preparing for mathematics competitions. The tests cover four traditional areas of competition math: algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics. Some of the problems involve complex mathematical ideas, but all can be solved using only elementary techniques, sometimes combined in unique ways. There is special emphasis on the skills of proof writing. The book also gives a short bio of the program’s creator and director, Titu Andreescu. B&w graphics are included
