[BBC CONCERT 2009) - Cliff Richard & The Shadows Live

Cliff Richard and The Shadows re-united for an arena tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary earlier this year. As part of Radio 2's Great British Songbook, here's a chance to enjoy Sir Cliff, Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch and Brian Bennett in concert at Wembley Arena on Friday 23 October.
Initially called The Drifters, The Shadows were formed as a backing band for Sir Cliff Richard in 1958. Together, they dominated the charts in the late 50s and 60s, notching up 7 number one hits, before splitting up in 1968 to pursue separate careers. This tour is the first time they have performed together in 20 years and the group have said the Wembley performance is their last ever UK date.
