A truly beautiful album release from the late 60s, features the album version of self-penned 'You'll Lose A Good Thing'. Barbara is one of the lesser known yet much underrated female 60's soul singers, who deserves her place alongside Carla, Aretha, Irma, and many other of her top notch peers. She not only gave us a consistently great output of material in the 60s on various labels (and on thru the years after as well), but she wrote a number of outstanding songs AND plays her own guitar too on most of her recordings. This performer is the full package, writer, musician/southpaw guitarist, great singer.Check her out!! And guess what! She's still doin it!
