Blonde Redhead est un groupe de rock américain, originaire de New York. Le nom du groupe provient de la chanson Blonde Redhead du groupe new-yorkais DNA avec Arto Lindsay.

Les trois membres de ce groupe se sont rencontrés par hasard dans un restaurant italien à Manhattan au début des années 1990. Amedeo et Simone Pace sont nés à Milan, en Italie, et ont grandis à Saint-Léonard, à Montréal, au Canada. Au début le trio était un quatuor, la bassiste Maki Takahashi est ensuite remplacée par Toko Yasuda (de The Van Pelt, The Lapse et Enon) tout en restant dans le groupe jusqu'en 1995. La composition du groupe se stabilise ensuite sous la forme du trio formé par la japonaise Kazu Makino et les frères jumeaux Amedeo et Simone Pace.

Misery Is A Butterfly est le 6e album du groupe sorti en 2004.
