Bob Dylan started his broadcasting career in the USA in May 2006 with a weekly radio show on XMSatellite Radio. The shows were all one hour in length and all carried a theme such as driving, fathers, food, radio, school etc. which these cds are hinged around.
The shows were all programmed by Dylan and drew on tunes from his personal record collection that helped shape his own musical output. They encompass all genres that now fit neatly into what is understood to be the very best of American roots music - Bob Dylan's roots.
