Church of the Living Prophets: Seeker of Prophecy

Each time a new religion is created or revised, the prophet usually incorporates more scientific knowledge into that new religion. Their rules for social behavior more closely align with the needs and knowledge of that era. It takes a Living Prophet to recognize change and prescribe a new moral code. As long as there are Living Prophets in each generation, people are going to have a chance to gain happiness by using the most up-to-date moral code available.
I expect people to change because it is reasonable and in their best interest, but not because they feel guilty. Sustained and depressing guilt is not useful. People can't be made better than they truly are; however, there is no reason for anyone to go through life confused about what is right and wrong.
This book is also intended to bring about change. People dismiss some issues as boring because they see them as unchanging or impossible to change. In addition to providing a solid moral foundation, this book is meant to teach the reader how systems of government and economy work. Everyone does influence these systems. In doing this, a changing yet mostly stable balance of power is maintained. This book contains practical instructions for shifting the balance of power. The reasons for doing this will become more clear after reading the second chapter.
Finally, this book is a call to action. There has been a lot of bad stuff going on lately. All of it can be explained, but there aren't enough people who are ready to hear it. Human beings are going to go on reproducing whether their problems get fixed or not. Survival is too low a standard. This book is ultimately intended to help a few good people to transcend their present limitations and live a better life. You only live once. Some people think that fact is a justification for evil or an excuse to transcend the paradigm of good and evil. By the time you finish reading this book, you will know the truth
