Damageplan is a project of Pantera guitarist and drummer Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul. The lineup, the fruits of whose labors can be heard on the album, also includes bass guitarist Bob Zilla and vocalist Patrick Lachmann, better known as the ex-guitarist of Halford and Diesel Machine. The material will primarily be of interest to fans of all kinds of modern metal, for example, such bands as Fear Factory. Fans of classic Pantera will be especially pleased. If we were to give the album some kind of general assessment, then by and large it is a mash of notes not much different from Pantera, in which Vinnie does not miss the chance to work with two bass drums once again, and the crazy guitar riffs and powerful vocals that slip through simply make you shudder
