The third full-length release for the British singer-songwriter was inspired by his move to Los Angeles.
The structure of the album is beautifully crafted, with each of the tracks like pages of a calendar that detail Croll’s life, presenting a personal diary window of sorts into his world.
Even the poppiest songs on Grand Plan feel melancholic. Croll has exactly captured the bittersweetness of leaving your 20s, anticipation and anxiety perfectly intertwined.
