Note! This is not the heavy rock Demian from Texas (transformed from the psychedelic band Bubble Puppy), but a completely different, progressive, also American Demian, who released his only, very rare album in 1974 on the local label Starburst. Rock Star Farm is a kind of ambitious rock opera, touching on the most negative side of the rock lifestyle, i.e.... premature death. More on this in the libretto copied inside the booklet, while the music itself is a full of changing atmospheres, very original, quite catchy and very professional cross between the late The Doors with the hard rock sound (slow tempos + Hammonds) of the group Bloodrock and with a cool, strong vocal that is a result of Arthur Brown and David Bowie. All the quite short recordings create a kind of 35-minute rock suite that is hard to get bored with and is definitely worth getting to know!
