World renown producer John Dahlback has a very special gift for everyone. He has created a new side project entitled Demure. With this new project, John is stepping out from the world of big room music into a more downtempo sound. And as his first gift with this new side project, Demure has created a new 13-track album entitled Kill The Silence. The brand new album is comprised of some special music made especially for home listening and times of relaxation. What’s even better, is that you can download the album FOR FREE! All you need to do is go to John Dahlback’s Facebook page and liking it.
When talking about the album, Dahlback had this to say:
"I created this music because I wanted something beautiful I could listen to on the plane, bus or wherever I was. This is not EDM and not for the clubs. This is purely just for listening…and now sharing this with you."
Coming from a very musical family, John has worked with his cousin Jesper Dahlback, a popular Swedish Techno producer, many times in the past. But this time in the project Demure, he decided to bring another talented Dahlback into the limelight, bringing his sister Erika Gellermark to help co-write and sing many of the songs on Kill The Silence. The album shows a wide range of John’s musical talent from the indie pop ‘You Wouldn’t Know’ to the melancholic ‘Intro‘ all the way to John’s memorable piano playing on the title track. John Dahlback created Demure as to not confuse people with his club productions. But he also wanted to highlight this beautiful music, which he did.
