Hailing from Los Angeles, the Droogs were formed in 1972, they released some singles (compiled for their Anthology - Germany 1987) until their first album in 1984 "Stone Cold World" (produced by Earle Mankey). In 1989, they released their third album "Mad Dog Dreams"' in Germany, and one year later, the same album is released in the USA as "Want Something" with an alternate track order and a few different songs - the 3 live cuts are dropped and replaced by a cover of the Kinks plus 4 other studio cuts
