La civilización nazca prosperó en Perú hace dos mil años, en un trecho de tierra inhóspita. Sobrevivió a pesar de sequías terribles, terremotos y revueltas sangrientas. La capital, Cahuachi, estaba situada sobre un valle muy fértil y era el centro religioso de la cultura nazca.
¿Qué sucedió para que el pueblo nazca cayera en el olvido? ¿Cuál fue la causa de su desaparición? En la actualidad, un equipo de arqueólogos e historiadores trabajan para devolverle la vida a esta antigua y misteriosa civilización.

This video explores ancient ruins in the Nazea Plains city of Cahuachi in Southern Peru. There, archaeologists have found elaborate pyramids, ceremonial buildings, pottery, and musical instruments. There are well-preserved mummies that show evidence of ritual sacrifice.
Renowned archaeologists explain what all the findings mean and reveal the fruits of 17 years of work in Peru.
