Elizabeth Ziman, the head of Brooklyn-based indie-pop group
Elizabeth and the Catapult have kept busy after a tour with
psychedelic pop musician Kishi Bashi. Earlier in January,
the band released Like It Never Happened produced by previous
members and current Lucius bandmates Dan Molad and Peter Latish.
Prior to that, the band released Taller Children in 2009 and The
Other Side of Zero in 2010, which both reflect the band’s Feist
and Joni Mitchell-esque sound. Elizabeth and the Catapult will be
playing with Katie Herzig at the Boot & Saddle in the coming months
on Saturday, May 3rd, after some stops in the band’s home state.
