Elli Robert Fitoussi "F. R." David (born 1 January 1947, Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia) is a Tunisia-born French singer. He is best known for his 1982 hit single "Words".
One of the classic Hi-Energy artists of the early 80's, F.R. David is best remembered for his smashing hit, 'Words', which sold over 8 million records around the world and topped the charts around Europe in late 1982.
