We're proud to bring you the first thirteen episodes of this iconic series. Batches will be separated by opening theme. This first batch has the opening theme "Melissa" by Porno Graffiti. The next batch will have the best OP ever, "Ready Steady Go" by L'Arc-en-Ciel.

I'm open to suggestions for what series gets done after the completion of Fullmetal Alchemist 2003. It has to be a series/movie that we can get source material for. It also has to be a series/movie that does not have any good, competent releases yet. Leave your suggestions in the comments.

Q: Will you be doing encodes for the Death Note blurays?
A: Probably... not. I've heard/seen some evidence of mishandled deinterlacing on the progressive blurays. I've also seen/heard evidence of warpsharping. Typical Viz incompetence. Don't buy the blurays.

A: Besides the notion that Fullmetal Alchemist is a long standing favorite of mine, every single release of it out there is complete shit. AHQ? Please.
Q: Why would you do SD encodes of a Bluray instead of just using the DVD?
A: The bluray is a lot cleaner. I did comparisons of it with the R2J DVDs. The fact that this is H.264 and not MPEG2 helped a lot with retaining detail. Really a good job by Funimation in producing these discs.
