A fan video created in Auckland, NZ in 2013 and released in 2014 drawing its influence from DR WHO and STARGATE SG1. The story called GENE POOL is comprised of four separate episodes of around half an hour each. The makers of the video had done similar fan videos 25 years ago and this project was a tip of the hate to those video made in the early 90s.
The Doctor (Aden Shillito) and new friend Jeffrey (Nicholas Jeffrey) slip into a pocket universe and encounter a variant of a race that the Timelord has met many times before. But maybe the real danger isn't the obvious one.
