George Richard Ian Howe (né le 19 octobre 1949), connu professionnellement sous le nom de George Fenton, est un compositeur anglais.
Surtout connu pour son travail d'écriture de musiques de films et de musiques pour la télévision, il a reçu cinq nominations aux Academy Awards,
plusieurs Ivor Novello, BAFTA, Golden Globe, Emmy et BMI Awards, ainsi qu'un Classic BRIT.
Il est l'un des 18 auteurs-compositeurs à avoir été nommé Fellow de l'Ivors Academy (anciennement BASCA).
Il a souvent collaboré avec les réalisateurs Richard Attenborough, Nora Ephron, Alastair Fothergill, Stephen Frears,
Nicholas Hytner, Ken Loach, Andy Tennant, Neil Jordan et Terry Gilliam.

Hero est une comédie dramatique américaine de 1992 réalisée par Stephen Frears.
Il a été écrit par David Webb Peoples, à partir d'une histoire écrite par Peoples, Laura Ziskin et Alvin Sargent,
et met en vedette Dustin Hoffman, Geena Davis, Andy García et Joan Cusack.
Après The Grifters (1990), acclamé par la critique, il s'agit du deuxième long métrage américain du cinéaste britannique Frears.
