[Synopsis]

> #### C'est dans cet univers de corruption politique que le Major Motoko Kusanagi travaille.
> #### Celle-ci est un agent au corps cybernétique de dernier cri, agissant selon ce que lui souffle son "ghost". Malgré cela, le Major commence à douter de sa propre nature. Les hackers maintenant s'en prennent non plus aux réseaux informatiques mais aussi au cerveau humain. Les souvenirs alors ne sont plus que de vulgaires donnés, maniables dans leur intégrité.
