Hilltop Hoods est un groupe de hip-hop australien qui s'est formé en 1996 à Blackwood, Adélaïde, Australie du Sud.

Ils sont considérés comme les pionniers du style "larrikin-like" du hip hop australien.

Le groupe a été fondé par Suffa (Matthew David Lambert) et Pressure (Daniel Howe Smith), qui ont été rejoints par DJ Debris (Barry John M. Francis)
après le départ d'un autre fondateur, DJ Next (Ben John Hare), en 1999.

Walking Under Stars est le septième album studio du groupe, sorti le 8 août 2014 sous le label Golden Era.
Lors des J Awards de 2014, l'album a été nommé dans la catégorie Album australien de l'année.

Avant la sortie de l'album, les Hilltop Hoods ont qualifié Walking Under Stars de "compagnon" de l'album précédent Drinking from the Sun, les deux albums partageant des thèmes et des illustrations similaires et étant reliés par une narration en cinq parties, intitulée "The Thirst", commençant par le morceau d'ouverture de Drinking from the Sun, "The Thirst Pt. 1" et se terminant par "The Thirst Pt. 5" à la fin de Walking Under Stars.
