The only album by a band from Coventry, West Midlands, formed in the summer of 1969. The quartet played gigs at local schools and universities, where they were spotted by manager Jim Simpson, who also produced Black Sabbath and Bakerloo. The band frequently opened for Black Sabbath, lacking funds. Former Vertigo Records manager Olav Wyper was invited to head Neon Records. Following Simpson's recommendation, Wyper signed the band. Work on the debut album took place at London's renowned Trident Studios under the supervision of Rodger Bain, who had produced Black Sabbath's first self-titled album. Indian Summer was released in early 1971. Immediately after its release, Harker left to run his father's label, who lived in America. He was replaced by Wes Price (who performed in The Sorrows), who took over promotional duties, including organizing concerts in Switzerland. However, returning from the trip penniless, the musicians decided to end their collaboration in early 1972. Colin Williams retired from music entirely and began working in the automobile industry. Paul Hooper continued performing in local bands before joining Bob Jackson for a time. He is currently a member of The Fortunes. After completing his contract with Jim Simpson, Bob Jackson worked with Rigor Mortis, Moon, Badfinger, and the Dodgers, assisted David Byron on the recording of the album On the Rocks, The Motors, The Searchers, Jeff Beck, Jack Bruce, and Pete Brown. He is still playing today
