Audio course on the philosophy of Juche - the ideological basis of the DPRK and the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Juche is a further development of Dialectical and Historical Materialism, a new view at the role of man and society.
Thus, while Engels defined man as “an animal rational, social, speaking, working”, Kim Il Sung identified three characteristics of man and human society:
- independence,
- creativity,
- consciousness.
Based on these characteristics, the main principle of Juche is derived: “Man is the master of everything. Man defines the destiny of everything and his own fate.”
The ideas of Juche are called upon to build a society that satisfies the material and non-material needs of each individual, ensure industrial and military self-sufficiency of the state, develop the scientific, technical and cultural potential of humanity as a whole.
