Voor Director\'s Cut\' heeft Kate Bush 11 tracks van haar albums \'The
Sensual World\' (1989) en \'The Red Shoes\' (1993) opnieuw onder handen
genomen.
Flower Of The Mountain bevat de oorspronkelijke tekst voor \'The Sensual
World\' waar de zangeres eind jaren \'80 geen toestemming voor kreeg.
Alle leadvocalen en drums op \'Director\'s Cut\' zijn opnieuw opgenomen en
op sommige tracks zijn drummer Steve Gadd, bassist (en
multi-instrumentalist) Danny Thompson en zangeres Mica Paris te horen.
Drie songs zijn opnieuw opgenomen, waaronder \'This Woman\'s Work\'.
Voor de single \'Deeper Understanding\' heeft Kate een korte film
opgenomen waarin haar eigen zoon Albert en rol speelt. Hij is ook te
horen op detrack.
