'Kill the messenger' vertelt het waargebeurde verhaal over een journalist,
Gary Webb (Jeremy Renner), die een boekje open doet over de rol van de

importeren van cocaïne in Californië. Vervolgens wordt hij het doelwit
van een vicieuze lastercampagne, hetgeen er toe leidt dat hij tot op het
