Образовавшись в 1989 году, KILL THE THRILL выпустили несколько демо и выступили с KILLING JOKE, ZENI GEVA, BIG CHIEF, LA MUERTE, YOUNG GODS, EINSTUERZENDE NEUBAUTEN, LA MUERTE, NEUROSIS, JIM ROSE CIRCUS, GROTUS, TREPONEM PAL и CORONER, и только после этого, в 1993 году, вышел их первый альбом. Продюсером этой дебютной работы Dig был Дэвид Вебер (TREPONEM PAL, YOUNG GODS). В том же году KILL THE THRILL выпустили EP Pit .
