Learn iOS programming. If you know other programming languages such as Python or Java and want the start developing for iOS devices, this is the book for you. You will build 3 apps which will teach you how to get started with programming with cocoa touch framework and the swift programming languages.

Chapter 1
Introduction to Xcode 10 – We will get familiar with the Xcode interface before we start building apps.

Chapter 2
Body Mass Index Calculator App – We will build an app that calculates a persons body mass index. You will learn about working with text fields, labels, setting up outlets, and actions.

Chapter 3
Shopping List App – We will create a shopping list app. The user will be able to check/uncheck items, delete, and add new items to the list. You will learn about working with table views. Setting up data sources and delegates. You will also learn to work with stack views and autolayout.

Chapter 4
Driving Route and Distance App – We will create an app that searches for a route between two addresses. If it finds one it would print the distance and draw the route on a map. You will learn how to work with Map Kit and get practice working with everything we learned in chapter 1 and 2.
