Patchworx 70 – Future Synth & Retro Wave is a powerful collection of 80’s inspired sounds for Propellerheads Reason Thor.

This collection features Thor patches inspired by the classic synth sounds from the eighties that feature prominently in the modern 'Future synth/Retro wave' genres of electronic music. While these patches are designed for these styles they can be used by EDM producers of any genre looking to improve their music with some beefy retro synthesis.

Inspired by a whole range of artists, from Mitch Murder, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, Kavinsky, Lazer Hawk, as well as movie and tv soundtracks from Miami vice to modern recreations like 'Kung Fury'.

Featuring BASS: classic bass stab sounds, ideal for fast step sequencing to give that pulsing adrenaline bass sound so common in Future Synth. SYNTH LEADS: powerful solo synths that work great with the pitch bend and modulation wheels. ARP LEADS perfect for arpeggiated top line hooks. POLY SYNTHS: great for beefy chords with that glistening retro feel. PADS & AMBIENCE sounds for depth that will give your track that Neopunk futuristic sound.

It is highly recommended that you combine these synths with samples from quintessential 80s drum machines, such as the Linn Electronics LM-1 Drum Computer and Oberheim DX/DMX Drum Machine.
