Now that his health is failing, the Lost Boys are coming together to support him and his family.
To be honest, I may have been more supportive of Mr. Paige’s son than was totally appropriate for a guy in a collar. Turns out, just like the Lost Boys, Holden had good reason to leave Seguin all those years ago.
Despite his history, I’m hoping he’s willing to find a reason to stay.

Book 2: The Crush
Augustus Walker, Jr. is a problem.
Every queer person I know has had a tragic crush on a straight person at some point in their lives, and for the last year, Walker has been mine.
Not that my crush on him is serious—I’m just appreciating a sweet, sexy guy who happens to be a big fat goose egg on the Kinsey scale.
Le sigh and all that.
The Lost Boys—my queer friends from high school—insist, however, that he gets flustered every time we’re in the same room together. Last night, he blushed when I teased him about his perfect abs.
I’m afraid to push because I respect his sexuality, and I see how his family feels about him having a bunch of gay friends.
Still, I gotta wonder… am I the only one with a crush?

I’ve loved Hendrix Cavanaugh since his high school mascot days, and seeing him grind himself down like this has been driving me up a wall. Now that he’s collapsed on stage, I can’t watch from the sidelines for a second longer.
I know I’m not his type—I’m a network security specialist who wears expensive suits and alphabetizes his spice drawer. In contrast, Hendrix wears all black, including his eyeliner and nail polish, and I doubt he’s so much as alphabetized his contacts list.
Swooping in to save the day won’t make him notice me. I know that. But he has to come off the road, and I have to be the one to take care of him, or I’m going to go out of my mind.
That said, sharing a cabin with him while he recovers might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.
