Luc Vanlaere plays the harp in a very intuitive way. All pieces are self composed. Every melody tells it's own story. His music is not planned, but comes out of an unspoiled hunger for real adventure in both melody and atmosphere. This results in a very specific sound that is particularly suggestive for the listener. Using many contemporary chords and phrases while staying close to the basic melody, the music does not get lost in it's own atmosphere, but sounds extremely relaxing and natural. Nothing limits the beautiful sound of the instrument. Luc Vanlaere : A singer song writer at younger age who made albums in Dutch language recorded with big classical orchestra 1980 and 1985. Now a harp player performing only own compositions on the pedal harp. Cd titled "Ebb Tide" featuring 11 original instrumentals only and pure harp. Performances on stage , in street , meditation, church etc...
