« The Last Viking » est l'album 2020 de LEAVES' EYES. Le cadre de ce disque de metal symphonique ne pouvait pas être plus grand. Avec ses albums cultes « Vinland Saga » (2005) et « King Of Kings » (2015), le groupe a déjà transformé la découverte de l'Amérique par Leif Erikssons et la vie du premier roi de Norvège en musique. Cet automne, LEAVES' EYES vous amènera dans les sagas Viking jusqu'à leur histoire finale explosive.

« The Last Viking », produit par Alexander Krull au Mastersound Studio, sortira le 23 octobre chez AFM Records. L'artwork de la pochette a été créé par Stefan Heilemann, qui s'intègre parfaitement à la collection de pochettes d'albums de LEAVES' EYES jusqu'à présent. Le nouvel et 8e album sera disponible sur 2CD Digipak (y compris un CD instrumental en bonus), 2CD Digipak ''Collector’s Edition'' (accompagnée du CD bonus instrumental, avec une autre pochette et une carte autographe signée à la main), Vinyle (vert pin, orange brumeux - limité à 533 exemplaires pour chaque format) et un Artbook avec une pochette rigide limitée à 1066 exemplaires.

Ce sera le 2e album pour la chanteuse Elina Siirala qui a remplacé Liv Kristine en 2016.
