Magic Knight Rayearth TV series - Japanese DVDs ###

From the Limited edition Memorial DVD box (Bandai, 2005),
that came with an extra music CD with selections from the
Hayato Matsuo soundtrack.

This Japanese R2 discs and music CD were obtained from
Asian DVD Club many many many moons ago. The original
uploader, whose name I already forgot, used to upload
each disc separately to ADC. There is another torrent
at Nyaa of this same discs, but is already dead without
seeders.

I'm not entirely sure where I got the scans of the covers
and disc labels. They probably came with the same torrents.
Or I probably downloaded them from Zerochan or Minitokyo.
In any case I considered it appropriate to include everything
in one single place.

The music CD comes in ".img" format. You may need to burn it
or mount the image in a proper software in order to listen to it.
For that just use the provided ".cue" file. I know it works because
I already burned and converted it to FLACs for my personal use.
But for this torrent I just left it in its original form.

Rayearth OVAs - Japanese DVD ###

From the original Japanese 2002 DVD release.

This disc was also obtained from Asian DVD Club back then.
Not sure if it was from the same person who uploaded the
discs of the TV series. Probably not, as there was no
accompanying artwork, so there are no scans of the cover
or label, sorry.

From the 15th Anniversary box sets (Anime Works, 2010).

This discs are copied from my own boxes which I bought
when released, and have played just two or three times.
I ripped the discs and this digital backup is what I use
to watch the series. All the scans are also my own and
have not been released elsewhere.

This version is the remastered video with the restored
endings and omakes, so the series is complete and was the
best version avaialble until the release of the Blu-Rays.
Great image and sound.

This USA discs also include the infamous, terribly edited
and worsely produced (badly lit image, incredibly low volume)
interviews with the English language voice actors. But that's
the only low point of this boxset. All the other content
is actually really good. There's even a couple of good
interviews with the director and sound designer which are not
present in the Japanese DVDs.

Rayearth OVAs - USA DVD ###

Subtitles: English
Episodes: 1-3 (complete)

This is the first USA version released by Manga Entertainment, 2003.

I really can't remember for the life of my when or how I got
hold of this disc. Probably ADC, but I'm not really sure.
Or maybe Mininova or some other extinct torrent site.
