Marley, the highly anticipated documentary film about the life and career of BobMarley hits cinema screens on April 20th 2012 and will be accompanied by the originalsoundtrack released by Island.

The film, directed by Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald, delves into the life ofIsland‘s most famous act. This is the first time that a full-length feature hasreceived the full backing and support of both the Marley family and Islandfounder Chris Blackwell.

Rare footage, archival photos and incredibleperformances and interviews with his family, friends and band mates make upthis remarkable film. The production team have been working extensively withIsland and the family over the past few months.

The original soundtrack compiles the best of Bob Marley‘s hits, live versions fromthe archives and previously unheard material that also feature in the film.
