BodyPaint 3D : dépliage UV et création de textures par projection directe sur l'objet. Ce module est intégré à Cinema 4D depuis la version 10 mais est aussi disponible séparément.
Advanced Render : illumination globale, caustiques, occlusion ambiante, profondeur de champ et autres effets photoréalistes, générateur de ciel. Depuis la version 2.6, contient
 également PyroCluster, un outil de génération de particules préconfiguré, et depuis la version 3.0 le module contient l'outil Cineman qui permet la connexion avecle moteur de rendu RenderMan : Pixar's RenderMan Pro Server, dna research 3Delight, Sitex Graphics AIR.
ProRender : moteur de rendu utilisant de lancer de rayons, intégré à Cinema 4D depuis la version R19.
Dynamics : gestion de la gravité et des effets physiques.
Mocca : animation de personnages. Ce module contient également Clothilde, un outil de gestion de tissus.
Hair : création de cheveux, poils, plumes.
ThinkingParticles : gestion de particules.
MoGraph : effets d'animation, clonage d'objets.
NET Render : Permet le rendu d'animations via un réseau intranet ou internet, par le biais d'un navigateur web.
Sketch and Toon : Permet le rendu non photo-réaliste : dessin, aquarelle, cellulo…

Configuration minimale requise pour Cinema 4D et BodyPaint 3D :
Windows 7 SP1 64 bit ou supérieur avec processeur Intel ou AMD 64 bit supportant les instructions SSE3, ou macOS 10.11.6 ou 10.12.4+ sur Apple Macintosh avec processeur Intel 64 bit. 
4 Go de RAM (8 Go ou plus recommandé), carte graphique OpenGL supportant OpenGL 4.1 (GPU dédié recommandé). 
Le moteur de rendu GPU nécessite une carte graphique NVIDIA ou AMD sur Windows, AMD sur macOS, supportant OpenCL 1.2 ou supérieur. La prise en charge de Metal nécessite macOS 10.13.2 ou supérieur. Nous recommandons 4 Go de VRAM au minimum pour le rendu GPU. 
Un port USB et une connexion internet pour l’enregistrement obligatoire sont indispensables. 
Maxon ne peut pas garantir le support de nouveau matériel ou de nouveausystème d’exploitation une fois une version de Cinema 4D/BodyPaint 3D sortie.


Cartes graphiques
En règle générale, Cinema 4D et BodyPaint 3D prennent en charge toutes les cartes graphiques OpenGL 4.1. Néanmoins, nous vous conseillons d'utiliser une carte graphique 3D dédiée (AMD ou NVIDIA).
Maxon n'est pas responsable de la compatibilité de chaque carte graphique en mode OpenGL, OpenCL, ou Metal. En raison de l'immense variété de cartes graphiques disponibles, de systèmes d'exploitation et de versions de pilotes, nous ne pouvons garantir la compatibilité de tous les systèmes.
Assurez-vous de toujours utiliser le pilote de carte graphique le plus sûr (pas de version beta).?
procédure d'installation et patch:


-installer cinema4D depuis le dossier R20_Install_Web_Win/MAXON-Start.exe
-dans la fenêtre set-up/registration et dans les champs name, city, company, country mettre ce que vous voulez
-dans le champ de N° de serial entrer: 14004000000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000
Cinema 4d Prime Vizualise Broadcast Bondypaint sont incorporés dans cette version Studio
-continuer et dans la fenêtre suivante cocher "Cinema 4D" puis terminer l'installation.
-ne pas ouvrir tout de suite Cinema 4D (plus tard à la première ouverture autoriser les accès au firewall Windos Defender si une fenêtre s'ouvre et le demande)
puis:
-copier dans le dossier installation et patch le fichier:
c4dp_20.0.26.xdl64
-le coller et remplacer dans le dossier C:\Program Files\MAXON\Cinema 4D R20\corelibs
