Release Information

McAfee GetClean is an initiative to collect and
upload clean files from software vendors and
customers. Samples and their meta data are uploaded
to McAfee using a client end tool that
customers can deploy to submit information on their
clean file repositories. Post processing,
McAfee Global Threat IntelligenceTM database is
populated with information about the submitted
files and the files become part of McAfee test
systems where they are scanned before release of
any
new DAT update.
