Neither of these gentlemen should need an introduction to the connoisseur of dark, electronic music. Vainio is one half noise techno pioneers Pan Sonic, and Nordwall runs iDEAL Recordings, and records solo as well as with The Skull Defekts and Alvars Orkester to name but a few.
As the title suggests, this album treats the sound with religious reverence. It's minimal, deep and cold, but never the less resonates with profound emotion. Electronics clash with organs, guitars, bass and metal percussions all recorded in the studio of Einstürzende Neubauten. - Belaten Records
