The only album by a rock trio from San Francisco (California). "Mint Tattoo" was created by guitarist Bruce Stephens, who previously played in "Blue Cheer". He recorded in two albums of this group and left to look for another happiness. Stevens was accompanied by Ralph "Burns" Kellogg, who played Blue Cheer with him. Moreover, Kellogg continued to play “Blue Cheer” on the organ, which did not prevent him from participating in the recording of “Mint Tattoo”, where, in addition to keyboards, he took on the bass. Third on "Mint Tattoo" was drummer Gregg Thomas. The album was produced by James William Guercio, Chicago's manager, who, along with sound engineer Phil Ramone, created the Mint Tattoo sound, which was a mixture of blues and hard rock characteristic of the time.
