Released in 1981, ‘Moving Hearts’ sounded so new and fresh, and it still sounds great.
Many great players (Dónal Lunny and Christy Moore of Planxty, Declan Sinnott, and Davy Spillane) from so many areas of Irish music - simply the best at combining Rock, Jazz and Traditional Folk, and politics, too - creating a powerful and unique Irish sound.
A gem of an album. Highly recommended.
