Following his debut album \"Guidelines For An Emerging Century\" in 2007,
Stockholm based producer Mr.Suitcase spent autumn recording new songs and
doing remixes. In December, he began putting together what he had planned
to be a mixtape for his friends. A simple task, it seemed, but he failed.

Instead of just mixing songs in a set, he found himself weaving all the
tracks together, inspired by the collage aesthetics of band such as
The Avalanches and Saint Etienne. He began adding new elements where he
thought the originals were lacking. People began dropping by the studio
to record vocals and instruments over the loops and fragments he\'d
extracted from the original tunes. Soon enough, the result had become
something very different than just a generic mixtape.

\"Frauds\" is neither mixtape nor album. It\'s neither remix or mash-up.
It\'s something in between it all, with a touch of ambient atmosphere
added. \"Frauds\" is built from elements ranging from Prince to The Rice
Twins, from Nicolas Makelberge to Bryan Ferry, from Usher to Viktor
Sjöberg, layered with field recordings and finalized in the late night
sessions in Roth Händle Studio where the album... Sorry, the fraud was
completed.
