Synopsis:

In a remote coastal village along the Black Sea in northern Turkey, early summer breaks for five orphaned, free-spirited teenage sisters: Lale, Nur, Ece, Selma, and Sonay. Walking home from school, they innocently splash around in the sea with a group of local boys. However, their seemingly harmless celebration of youth is severely misconstrued by a conservative neighbor as a display of rampant sexual immorality. Scandalized, their ultra-traditional grandmother and domineering uncle instantly transform the family estate into a literal prison—windows are barred, security walls are built, and traditional dresses replace school uniforms. As the house morphs into a repressive "wife factory" with forced arranged marriages systematically scheduled one by one, the sisters unite in a fierce, untamed, and wild streak of resistance, willing to sacrifice everything to break out of their gilded cages and reclaim their futures.
