An update for ABBEY ROAD | 60s DRUMS is now available via the Service Center or via the Online Update Manager. It offers the following new features:

• Incredibly fast loading of kits thanks to the new KONTAKT 4.1 background loading feature.
• Drum loading and unloading of single sounds. Unloading a drum will purge it from your computer’s memory, freeing up more resources.
• Essential kits: new versions of each kit with the most common articulations
• Additional mapping presets: selection of presets based on popular software and electronic drum setups
• Choking of cymbals with electronic drum pads and with keyboard aftertouch now possible
• Automation ids: pre-assigned automation IDs to easily use automation within your DAW

I am sorry to report that there is a bug with our current installer technology when it comes to content updates (like with the Abbey Road Drums) on some machines. We are currently looking into this.

The quick fix is: after running the update installer, go into the library folder and delete the "Abbey Road 60s Drums_info.nkc" or "Abbey Road 70s Drums_info.nkc" file (do NOT delete the accompanying .nkx file). Hopefully this will solve the problem.
