Après des années d'exploration forcenée, de courageux Vikings découvrirent un nouveau continent recelant bien des mystères, dangers et trésors : Northgard.

Les plus téméraires hissèrent alors les voiles et partirent à la conquête de ces terres inexplorées, en quête de gloire pour leur clan. Par leurs victoires, leur aptitude au commerce ou leur dévotion aux Dieux, ils graveront ainsi leurs noms dans l'histoire.

Mais il leur faudra pour cela combattre les loups féroces et guerriers morts-vivants qui arpentent ces terres, vaincre des géants colossaux ou s'allier à eux, et survivre aux hivers les plus rigoureux que le Nord ait connus.
