OOOD - A Live
This album was recorded in 1996/7, and released on the Brighton based Cabbaged Records in 1997.
The tracks were all recorded live at various parties in the UK. I was never really happy with
the original cover so in 1999 I replaced the original artwork (by Cabbaged and the
ThikBreakfast Holding Company with one of my own design.

When listening to the album, please bear in mind the period and manner in which it was recorded.
I'll tell you now that it doesn't compare to modern productions! The equipment used in its
creation (MIDI only, no digital audio) was:
40MHz 386 PC running Cubase Score, 2 in/2 out MIDI interface
Ensoniq EPS16+ sampler (1MB memory, stereo outputs only)
Roland TB303 (modified)
Yamaha CS15 (modified)
Roland SH101 (modified)
Silver Machine (home-built analog synth)
EMS Synthi
Kawai K1
Korg DW6000
Studiomaster 16 channel analog mixer
Mutronics Mutator (prototype and production versions)
DOD digital delay guitar pedal

With regards to the equipment, I have to mention Nigel... he modified all our analog gear,
putting CV/Gate controls on it all and modifying the CS15 to enable its use as two independent
monophonic synths. He also designed and built the Silver Machine, now sadly defunct due to
over-gigging (but which can be heard doing the final main lead sound on our Fluorostani
Transcendance track) and designed and built the Mutronics Mutator analog filter unit
(despite what it says on their website...)
