this is the 2nd developers preview
i tried it and installed just fine either on top of the 1st preview or burned on a dvd and instal alone

checksum for the dmg is : 85a834c08706ff8d6ac92328c6bd6e1f

please check yours as well to make sure its a match if you having a problem

Do not use dev 2 requires log in to app store for verification new protocol for anti piracy measures you can install it manually but it won't do you any good

How to install manually:

what you need:

1. mountain lion developers preview 1 installed

2. snow or lion installed on second partition

3. hard drive space.

How to install:

boot into snow partition or lion partition open dev preview 2 dmg run packages out of the package folder tell package folder to install to mountain lion partition problem solved you just installed dev 2 without app store.
