Intro to Creation Evolution Science:
Information is an essential part of our lives. A certain "computer" code is in every cell, every piece of DNA and all living things. Dr. Don Johnson has two Ph.D's in Chemistry and Computer Science. He explains that the complexity in one cell refutes the theory of evolution and confirms that only God could have created life.

Mass and Energy Origin and Fine-Tuning:
This is the second in the "Creation, Evolution, and Scientific Facts" series that has links to PDFs and audio for all 6 sessions at calvaryofwilmington.org/TLW/creation/creation.html. This session covers the common "naturalistic" scenarios (quantum vacuum energy, oscillating Universe, and string theory's multi-verse) as well as the Biblical account. The incredible fine-tuning that allows for life is highlighted.

Life and It's Origin:
The incredible complexity of all life is hilighted by examining the components of a "simple" cell. The computer-controlled protein (including enzymes) manufacturing process illustrates that DNA, RNA, and over 150 proteins must be present and fully functional for life to exist. The natural scenarios (proteins first, DNA/proteins first, and RNA first) are analyzed and shown to be totally inadequate, even from the natural sciences. The information systems of life illustrate with certainty that life had an intelligent source. The Biblical basis for life's origin demonstrates agreement with known science. We are fearfully and wonderfully.

Evolution, Species, and Kinds:
This 4th session of the 6-part series distinguishes between micro- and macro- biological evolution. The role of "junk DNA" in the Darwinian explanation is explored. The fossil record evidence for the biological tree of life is analyzed, especially in the Cambrian explosion of life. Irreducible complexity and computer simulations are also examined. The Biblical account and Darwinism are compared.

The Flood, Catastrophic, Fossils, and Time:
Scientific data and the Biblical account for the pre- and post-flood environments are examined, along with the likely flood experience (e.g. the ark). The flood's result in the fossil record and continental drifts is explained. Evidence of contemporaneous existence of man and dinosaurs is examined. Mt Saint Helen's is shown to be a great example of catastrophism. The radioactive carbon-14 dating method is explained, highlighting the probable effect of the flood on "early" dates. The Biblical 6-day creation scenario is examined in the light of the General Theory of Relativity. Scientific evidence for a much younger Earth and Universe is presented.

Scientific Reliability of the Bible:
The last of the 6-part series highlights Biblical insights that were truly amazing for such an ancient book, including fields like astronomy, meteorology, health, biology, and physics. The science of the crucifixion will be shown. The archaeological evidence from the Ebla Tablets, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and other findings will be examined. The statistical probabilities of several Biblical prophecies will be analyzed. The possibility of "hidden" codes imbedded within the Hebrew text is shown to defy probability. The Bible is shown to be amazingly accurate and reliable, even in areas of science.
