Much like Sanctuary, which I captured some time ago, Fire Emblem had a US release, but never made it past VHS. Somebody out there is a fan, so they acquired the laserdiscs in Japan and sent them my way.
I have never played any of the game(s) these are based on, but I did a little research, and it turns out there are SIXTEEN of these things, with two more on the way. Presumably this must be based on at least one of the first four games, but I have no idea. Plotwise, it looks like some fairly standard sword-and-sorcery type stuff. Art-wise, it looks pretty good.
X264 and untouched high-bitrate DVD conversion for archival purposes
