Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (known in America under the name of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection) is a compilation of video games of the Sega Mega Drive released in February 2009 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 developed by Backbone Entertainment. It is a sort of sequel to the video game Sega Mega Drive Collection, released in 2007 for PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2.
The compilation has a number of selectable titles belonging to the history of the Sega Mega Drive plus a few other titles belonging to the unlockable Sega Master System or Arcade released as a bonus for a total of more than 40 titles and unlocking of the latter coincides with the release of the objectives and trophies for the PlayStation 3 version.
