Une fille de Québec, francophone d'origine mais qui chante en anglais, Pascale Picard (et son Pascale Picard Band) a su gérer beaucoup de succès depuis la sortie de ces deux premiers albums. Pour ce troisième effort, la formation s'est livrée à une nouvelle étiquette de disque, montréalaise, celle de Simone Records. L'équipe de production comprend certains gros noms, dont le réalisateur Stéphane Rancourt (Amélie Veille, Jean Leloup), Sheldon Gomberg (Ben Harper, Ryan Adams, She&Him) et récipiendaire d’un Grammy Award Gavin Lurssen (Robert Plant, Queens of the Stone Age, Eric Clapton). Tout ça pour arriver à un album qui développe l'élan pop-rock toujours authentique de cette artiste, fondé sur des textes intimistes et honnêtes.
